Great post on the Inner Critic that is part of everyone who tries to be creative.

The Inner Critic is ever-present whenever we’re trying to accomplish something. I have an Inner Critic for writing, golfing, sales calls, and now cartooning.

I like your suggestions about the benefits of process. Accepting that mistakes are a part of the learning process helps mute the Critic’s voice. I also like to tell her (my critic is a grey haired old lady) that she’ll get her turn after I’m finished having fun practice.
